Early Spring In Victoria

Early Spring Flowers In Beacon Hill Park Victoria

Yesterday and today have been amazingly mild for this time of the year.  Yesterday the temperature rose to a balmy 14C + degrees (57F) and the early spring flowers and blossoms are making their presence known everywhere.

This photograph shows a lovely blanket of blooms in Beacon Hill Park, isn't it lovely?  As well, so many early blossoming trees are already in full bloom and the, mainly pink, blossoms add a welcome touch of colour to the otherwise monotome pallette of winter.

Victoria is full of gardens, private and public, where leaves are budding, early Camelias and Rhododendrons are blooming and daffodills, crocusses and other early flowers are showing their colours.

It's a lovely time of the year to visit The Garden City and it's even better for those of us who are fortunate enough to live here.
