WestJet to Start Weekly Direct Flights from Phoenix to Victoria This Fall.

Seasonal non-stop service will begin Nov. 4, 2011 and continue through the winter every Friday.

Flights to Victoria will leave Phoenix at noon on Fridays and will arrive in Victoria at 2:08 p.m.  The return flights will depart Victoria at 3:15 p.m. and arrive in Phoenix at 7:30 p.m

“We are pleased to see this new non-stop service to Phoenix by WestJet which adds to our growing number of popular sun destinations,” said Geoff Dickson, president and CEO of the Victoria Airport Authority.

WestJet already has seasonal flights to Hawaii and Las Vegas out of YYJ.

Victoria is the ninth busiest airport in Canada with 1.5 million passengers a year and more than 120 daily flights throughout North America.
