Getting To Victoria

From Seattle, WA - Clipper Navigation has a passenger-only ferry. Check the Victoria Clipper web site for sailing schedule. Passenger ferries travel time is approximately 2 to 3 hours.

From Port Angeles, WA - Blackball Transport operates the Coho; this ferry takes cars as well as people. Peak summer season, crosses 4 times a day 90-minute travel time. They do not take reservations and they do not accept credit cards. If you bring a car you will need to wait in line.

From Anacortes, WA - Washington State Ferry departs from Anacortes, Washington and travels to Sidney on Vancouver Island, which is about a 40-minute car ride from downtown Victoria.

From Vancouver BC - BC Ferries provides service between Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay. Check the BC Ferries web site for sailing times. Kenmore Air - has floatplane service harbour-to-harbour from Seattle to Victoria their phone number is 1 800 543 9595.

Harbour Air - has floatplane service from Vancouver BC to Victoria harbour to harbour - their phone number is 1 250 385 2203 toll free 1-800-665-0212.

Helijet Airways - provides helicopter service from downtown Vancouver or the Vancouver airport to downtown Victoria 250-382-6222.

Kenmore Air - flies convenient daily flights from Lake Union in Seattle to Victoria's Inner Harbour. Phone them at 866-435-9524

B.C. Ferries from Vancouver
(Tssawwassen Terminal) to Victoria (Swartz Bay Terminal)

Traveling as a foot passenger - Take the #70 bus from the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal to its downtown Victoria terminus, which is across the street from the Astoria. Approximately 1 hour journey.

Traveling as a bus passenger on Pacific Coach Lines - Approximately 45 minute journey to Victoria Bus Depot, which is just 2 blocks from the apartment.

Note: The Victoria Bus Depot is also boarding point for Gray Line Tours (including Butchart Gardens) and for Vancouver Island Coach Lines serving Up-Island destinations.

Traveling by car - It is approximately 45 minutes by car from the B.C. Ferries terminal at Swartz Bay to downtown Victoria

Washington State Ferries from Anacortes, WA
At present there is no connecting bus service to downtown Victoria. Journey by car to downtown Victoria is approximately 40 minutes.

Victoria International Airport (YYJ)
There are a number of transportation alternatives to downtown Victoria from YYJ.
